As such we will be following the self isolation guidelines as set out by the Ministry of health and will be taking all precautionary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 but to also allow the safe guard of the community.

As such AM Electrical Ltd is open for essential works only as detailed at  This means that we can undertake work that assist in the operation and safety of essential services, and/or ensure the safety, health, and, well being of people.

Some examples of permitted works include:

  • Repair of oven or hob as a necessary cooking appliance (to maintain health)

  • Repair of any installation which could be deemed as dangerous such as exposed wires or damaged outlets

  • Restoration of the supply of power to a property or to any sub circuit which powers essential needs (e.g. pump)

  • Installation of heating appliances or other health or wellbeing items

Some examples of non-permitted works include:

  • Replacement of non essential fittings and or fittings which operate correctly

  • Installation of new fittings which are not essential such as entertainment appliances like televisions

  • Renovations of functional installations

During any work our staff will:

  • Avoid any physical contact with others

  • Maintain a 2 metre distance between other people as possible

  • Wash and sanitize hands as often

  • Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread

  • Not leave their home if they are experiencing any illness or flu-like symptoms

What we ask of our customers:

  • Please respect social distancing where possible

  • Please wash and sanitize hands where contact is unavoidable

  • If you feel unwell please inform us or our team member on site ASAP as we may need to leave site or reschedule works

  • If you are experiencing any COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms, have returned from overseas in the last 14 days, or have been in close contact with someone who has been overseas, or you are self-isolating, we ask that you speak to our members by phone only and our teams can work with you in finding a solution
